“where do you see yourself at thirty ross?” my second grade teacher asked me…

“i see myself as a grown up with a fun profession. maybe an engineer like my dad.”

what i said.

“with rats crawling all over me while i play xbox 360 and awaiting a callback decision for grey’s anatomy”.

what would have been more accurate.

nice night to paint the walls… and thanksgiving.

i have a lot to be thankful for.

i’m going to think of them all as i paint these walls into the early hours of the morning.

what a novel idea.

i could write a book about this. but i won’t.

people spend their lives doing X so that they can have Y. the X is their means to getting their ultimate goal (Y). their goal, is then dependent on X.

what if you could cut out the X? why not spend your life doing what you ultimately want?
